On the 10th Anniversary of September, 11th, we were invited by the Sisters of Color United for Education to take part in the United We Stand car show and B-boy jam! It was a great event, and incredibly entertaining the whole way through. The morning, for us, started about 11:30am. We arrived to a packed out Sports Authority Field parking lot and people setting up booths and rides. As the gates opened, the excitement from the hundreds of children on hand was palpable. The parents seemed content to let their kids roam and play in this completely family friendly environment!
We sat at our booth all day and talked with several people from the local community who were glad to hear about our business and the things we do to provide to quality production services to the hard working people that patronize our company. We could also see, very comfortably I might add, the Zumba class, B-boy jam, cultural dance, and slam poetry from the stage in front of the main entrance to Mile High Stadium! Best performance of the day had to be the Motivation Crew and the high energy linguistics that Ill Seven and Dj Cavem on the “1′s and 2′s”!
Special Thanks to Adrienna Lujan and Euda Green from the SOCUE for their efforts at making us feel at home during the event. Basically it turned out to be mostly a network oriented day, but I can’t be mad at networking while my son is having the time of his life watching the Luchadors and Low riders! And we got some excellent flix of the vehicles to add to our growing automotive reel. Look for us to own automotive film/ video here in a few months. S/O Chris G. and Rich from 420 Wellness! Let’s do it again next year!
